“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Catch and Release: If you fish, then you’re familiar with this term.
Jesus is also in the catch and release business. He cleans us up and then releases us back into the world to be amongst others.
He doesn’t set us aside in a private lake or pond so He can enjoy us and keep us clean, but knows we are going back into a dirty, sin filled world. But we have the Holy Spirit in us that shines through our sinful nature to make us different to others, and useful to Him.
We may at times question where He has us, in life, work, and location but He doesn’t. You are you to be, in and among the people He wants you to be around and affecting for Him.
Don’t question His placement.
He has you where you are for a reason.
