Time

“My times are in your hands” (Psalm 31:15)

You and I all have a beginning, however you and I also have no end.

We were created for eternity – somewhere.

You get to choose where you spend the other side of eternity once our time here on this planet it finished.

We don’t like to talk about it, but I think most of us have become more aware of over these past few years. Death can be ignored and discussed in hushed tones when it happened to someone else, but when it happens to someone close to you, the reality of our brief existence on earth is brought front and center.

• “Since his days are determined, The number of his months is with You; And his limits You have set so that he cannot pass.” (Job 14:5)
• “And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? “(Matthew 6:27)

These are not decrees that should bring us anxiety or worry. Instead we get to relax knowing God has this. He is in control and while we all have heard or said that when it’s our time to die, it’s our time, but think of the opposite – if it is NOT your time, then God has your back!

While we are here let God work on you and your heart to take you along the path of discipleship to make you more like Christ. Let Him take on the cares of the world as we get to sit in amazement watching the puzzle pieces fall into place as His plan comes together.
