Come Unto Me…

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

When I look back over the events of my life I can see that God has always been there as the good Father He is, always loving me, even when I was not acting lovable.

We serve a loving God who desires that ALL could be saved but the choice is up to us. His love is constant, never faltering and always with the hope for us to come into a relationship with Him. We have the power to receive or reject.

The same sunlight that melts ice also hardens clay, so it is our response that falters.

The picture for this post is of a statue “Come Unto Me” by Jerry Anderson. It’s art sculpture portraying an aged woman’s body, returning to its symbolic prime, and back to the arms of our Savior. We all, as ‘Come Unto Me’ portrays, “have an eternal destiny. Truly the manifestation of deity…profound in beauty, most sacred and comforting; coming forth in the latter days in hopes to lift the hearts of all mankind.
