Father, I thank you that you have heard me. (John 11:41)

If we truly want a transformational life we have to start by letting Christ transform all aspects of our life daily, not just on Sundays and Wednesdays.

A DAILY walk with Him.

I find that starting in the morning with my devotion and time in the Word helps put “lenses” on that help me view the day, and help me to remember as much as possible not to get sidetracked by events of daily life apart from Him. It still happens – I find that I have gone for quite some time on my own energies and thoughts rather than seeking to keep my mind focused on Him through the day. That is exactly what the enemy wants. Running on our own power, not His, which leaves us exhausted and spent.

Jesus will be in and through our day if we let Him. (Actually the Holy Spirit is there whether we know it or not – the question is our awarenessof Him, and reliance on Him as we go through our day.

I seek to develop the habit of sending up small, short internal prayers through the day as I see something to life up to him, or when I see something to be thankful and grateful for. We need focused time with Him, but don’t compartmentalize your life into time with Him and the rest is apart from Him – Intentionally make it all one day long experience. The life of the saint does not mean we are on our knees 24/7. We have life that needs to be lived, things to do, work to be done, etc.

Do it with Him at your side.

Oh that I could say I have mastered this, but my experience daily is it increases the understanding of why I need Him more than ever.
