Why Worry?

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

“God is my Father, He loves me, and I will never think of anything that He will forget, so why should I worry?”

If we TRULY have this settled down in our souls, then NOTHING that happens in and around us will shake us as He has everything under control and is aware of all we see going on. It’s what we know as childlike faith.

Children get anxious.

They get scared.

But children with good parents know who to go to when that happens to get comfort and answers they understand. We have the perfect Father yet often times we forget He is in control, and we act as if He is completely unaware what is happening in our lives or in our world.

Especially in these days when it we can see biblical prophecy unfolding all around us – what feels like a world falling apart is really a world falling into place.

“Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28)

God knows all that is going on and is not worried that things are out of control. We can talk with him (prayer!) and seek His comfort in the midst of what looks like a world gone mad.

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.” (Luke 21:34)

We were built for eternity, which is where our spiritual eyes should be focused.

Rejoice that God is in control! We must be at peace no matter what the answer is, as He always knows what’s best for us! In fact, He knows what our prayers will be even before we ask!
