Eyes for Eternity

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you. (John 20:21)

Some day we will have no questions, but as long as we are here on earth we will always have questions. Our fleshly limitations prevent us from fully and completely understanding (and sometimes accepting) what is happening in the world around us. Events make no sense to use until we ask Him to help develop within us eyes for eternity. The world seems to be falling apart, yet it really is just falling into place.

That is our worldview until Jesus comes for His church – we have been sent to the world as ambassadors to demonstrate His peace and love to others. We’re not meant to huddle in safety in a storm shelter but to get into lifeboats searching for those who need rescuing.
