Contentment

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. (Philippians 4:11)

In the midst of all that is going on in the world, and in our lives, we are told to learn how to be content.

The longer I live, the more sure I know our God will provide all our needs. He has shown Himself faithful to do so in the past, so I know no matter what comes He will do so in the future.

His faithfulness is knowing He will provide what I need, not necessarily what I want. It also doesn’t mean life isn’t trouble free. Even when troubles comes, I know the power of Romans 8:28:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

God wins!
