“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)
When I look back over the events of my life, I can see that God has always been there as the good Father He is, always loving me, even when I was not acting lovable.
That is such a sign of His character, and how deep His love is for us. Even knowing ahead of time how many would reject the ultimate gift of Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us, He still sent Him. That sacrifice, once accepted, means we can NEVER be separated from His love.
We serve a loving God who desires that ALL could be saved but the choice is up to us. His love is constant, never faltering and always with the hope for us to come into a relationship with Him.
We have the power to receive or reject.
The same sunlight that melts ice also hardens clay, so it is our response that falters.
